Warning | Red Line & Blue Line: CTrain Service Disruptions

Over this weekend, both the Red and Blue Line will be undergoing scheduled maintenance. From May 2-3: Dalhousie to Tuscany Station will have a full closure, shuttle buses will be available to take customers between the affected stations. There will also be single tracking events happening on both lines — May 1-3 at Westbrook Station and May 2-3 at Southland Station. 17th Avenue Extension: Victoria Park/Stampede Station Rebuild

As part of the Rivers District Master Plan, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) is leading the 17th Avenue SE Extension and Victoria Park/Stampede Station Rebuild project. This project will connect Stampede Park to the Beltline; it is being run and funded by CMLC.

Calgary Transit is collaborating with CMLC on aspects of the project related to station design and transit service. Part of the project is the rebuilding of Victoria Park/Stampede Station. When complete, the new station will be larger, more accessible, and better integrated into the surrounding area.

Calgary Transit is doing everything we can to reduce service impacts due to the project. We will maintain temporary station access points throughout construction. A temporary CTrain platform has been built so customers can continue accessing the station. Some planned LRT closures related to the project will be necessary but our goal is to schedule closures during off-peak times to reduce customer impacts.
