Calgary’s Future Fast and Frequent Network

Calgary’s Future Fast and Frequent Network

As Calgary grows toward 2 million people, a fast and frequent transit network gives easy access to 1 million Calgarians and 65 per cent of Calgary’s jobs.

The backbone of Calgary's best future

The Fast and Frequent Network is a connected network of bus and CTrain lines that link people to key destinations across the city. Designed to form the backbone of Calgary's transit system, it supports a future where buses and CTrains arrive often enough that customers can simply show up and go without needing to plan around a schedule.

Built for how you travel

The Fast and Frequent Network is built to make transit easier, faster, and more reliable. Frequent service, longer hours, and better connections help reduce wait times and make travel more convenient throughout the day.

  • Frequency

Buses and trains come every 10 minutes or better, so you don’t need to plan your trip around a schedule.

  • Service hours

Service runs at least 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can travel when it works for you.

  • Travel time

Lines are designed to be faster and more direct, so you can spend less time travelling.

  • On-time service

Buses and trains arrive within three minutes of schedule, so you can count on your trip.

  • Capacity

More space and frequent service means there’s room when you need it.
