Fare Strategy

Calgary Transit is developing a Fare Strategy that will review the fare products we offer, how customers pay for transit, and how our fare structure can best meet the needs of Calgarians. 

The strategy will explore options that support a positive customer experience, align with how Calgarians travel today, and help maintain sustainable funding for transit service. We will present the Fare Strategy to Council in March 2027. 

Later this year, we will be seeking feedback from Calgarians on potential fare options and preferences. This feedback will help inform the development of the Fare Strategy and the recommendations brought forward to Council.
