On game day, McMahon Stadium is the place to be! Route 19 and the Red Line CTrain are the closest and most convenient Transit options.

Banff Trail Station, on the Red Line, is just a short walk from the Stadium — plan to arrive early, as this is a popular option and the train and platform can be pretty busy.

Several bus routes also stop nearby, with Route 19 – 16 Ave N in particular stopping right at McMahon’s west entrance, practically within eyesight of the endzone. Find your best option, check route times, and plan your trip using our Trip Planner, or the Transit app. Good to know: many routes have reduced service on Sundays, so check the route schedules online before you travel!

Accessibility

All Calgary Transit stations are equipped with elevators, escalators, and ramps, or are ground-level accessible. Accessible entrances and exits may vary from station to station, but they are all clearly marked. If at any point you require assistance, please use the Help buttons/phones located near elevators and throughout our stations.

Victoria Park/Stampede Station: Street-level access to the CTrain.

Banff Trail Station (McMahon Stadium): Street-level access to southbound CTrain platform on McMahon Stadium side; ramp access to cross to northbound CTrain platform.

Our CTrains and buses are equipped with ramps that can be lowered to make it easier for customers with mobility issues to board.

Boarding the bus: If you need assistance boarding a bus, please ask the driver to lower the ramp if they have not already done so. Once the ramp is completely lowered, make your way up the ramp slowly. Some customers may need to move to one side of the ramp to make the turn at the farebox.

Boarding the CTrain: Watch for the blue lights above the CTrain doors in the middle of each car. These accessible doors are equipped with a ramp to make boarding easier. Stay behind the yellow line until the CTrain has come to a complete stop, and push the blue accessible button to lower the ramp.

Visit our Accessibility page to learn more.
