A standard 40-foot bus can carry about 70 passengers, but how much food can it hold? We’ll find out on November 4!

You’ll see a bus parked outside every Calgary Co-op location on Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We’re asking Calgarians to stuff the buses full of non-perishable food donations and cash to support the Calgary Food Bank.

In partnership with Calgary Co-op and XL103 FM, this is our 25th annual Stuff a Bus event.

This is the largest single-day food drive in our city to support the Calgary Food Bank, and with the downturn in the economy, your support is needed more than ever. Each day 262 emergency hampers are given out by the Calgary Food Bank.

Last year over $168,000 was raised in cash and food donations, and over $1.9 million has been raised in the past 24 years.
