Alberta Spotlight takes place every month and showcases a musical artist, band or group with Alberta roots. This month, you can check out a performance by Edmonton-based Nuela Charles, an alternative soul singer-songwriter and a 2018 Juno Award nominee.

Shakespeare by the Bow

Starting June 29

Every summer, Theatre Calgary presents a Shakespeare performance in the beautiful scenery of the Bow River. This year, Alberta’s emerging artists will perform The Two Gentlemen of Verona. This event runs from June 29 until August 19, 2018.

Canada Day Block Party

Happy Canada Day #CTRiders! After four successful years in Eau Claire, Canada Day Block Party will take place at Max Bell Centre this year. This is a bigger location and offers an excellent view of the fireworks. There will be food trucks, live music, vendors, and activities for the kids!
