Every year, we partner with the Calgary Catholic School District and the Calgary Board of Education to host the ‘Get on Board’ Travel Training Summer Camp. The camp will help give your child the confidence and knowledge to ride transit.

Interested in signing your child up for the camp?

  • Does your child have a mild to moderate disability?
  • Is your child between the ages of 11 – 18?
  • Has your child not used public transit in the past or is fairly new to using transit?
  • Is your child self sufficient or able to bring an aide to accompany them?
  • Does your child have the ability to recognize some words related to transit? (Help, button, station, names of routes, etc.)

If you answered yes to these questions, your child would be a great fit for this program.

Where will the camp be held?
City Hall/ Municipal Building - 800 Macleod Trail S.E
City Hall School, Plaza Level. (beside escalators)

How much does it cost?
A fee of $25 is charged at signup but will be refunded if your child attends 100% of the camp. Since spaces are limited, we want to make sure that those who register attend the camp.
