Using Calgary Transit is simple once you know how to find your route that will take you to your destination. You can plan your trip ahead of time, view maps and route schedules online. Here are some tools that will help you:
Our entire fleet is accessible – our CTrains and buses have ramps, making it easier to get on and off our vehicles if you have a stroller or mobility device.
Park & Ride
Did you know that most of our CTrain Stations and several of our main bus terminals have Park and Ride lots? These lots have both free parking and reserved parking.
If you’re arriving on two wheels, most of our stations have bike racks, and 13 of our stations even have bike lockers available for rent. If you’re travelling with us outside of peak hours or on weekends, you are welcome to bring your bike on board!
We are committed to keeping you safe when you use our services. We do that through an extensive network of security features, including help phones on every platform, two way intercom systems on our CTrains, and Peace Officer patrols. We also encourage customers to practice safe habits when using the transit system.
Fares & Passes
If you’re taking the CTrain, fares can be purchased from ticket vending machines location at the station. These machines accept cash, credit and debit. You can also validate your pre-purchased tickets here.
Ticket books and monthly passes can be purchased online, at our Customer Service Centres, and various convenience and grocery stores.
