Important CTrain Safety Information

The following videos are intended to remind Calgarians to think about safety when riding on the CTrain or when walking or driving near CTrain tracks.

"We have a safe system and we want to ensure it remains safe in future," said Calgary Transit spokesman Ron Collins.

"We're hopeful that this information will help promote CTrain safety and get people thinking about being safe and being careful when using our busy and very popular light rail transit system," Collins said.

More than 275,000 customers now use the CTrain every week day and Calgary Transit believes it’s prudent to remind everyone of the need to be aware of these messages.

“We hope it will encourage people to stop, look and be safe on and around the system,” said Collins.

“Our key message is really very simple. Be safe and adhere to the rules and you won’t get hurt.”
