Whitehorn CTrain Station Upgrade - UPDATE
As part of the upgrade to the Whitehorn CTrain Station, the “up” escalator is being removed. This is necessary to continue the enhancements to this station.
During this phase, customer convenience and safety is of the utmost importance.
To ease customer movement, the elevator located at the rear of the station is still operational as is the “down” escalator.
Planned station improvements include improved accessibility, improved lighting, enhanced visibility from the outside of the station as well as within the station, and access to the south end of the platform. The platform is also being replaced and extended to accommodate future four-car CTrains.
Calgary Transit will continue to make every effort to minimize disruptions for its customers and will regularly provide updates on the project.
