CTrain Stations Accept Credit/Debit Cards
and
Provide Change
Ticket Vending Machines located at CTrain stations are now able to accept both credit and debit cards as payment for tickets. One machine per station has been outfitted with the capability to accept credit and debit card payments. Zoo Station has two machines and Stampede Station has 3 machines. Stations in the South that have direct access to the platform have one machine in the station and another at the level crossing to the platform. At stations such as Lions Park where there is a platform on each side of the tracks a Ticket Vending Machine with this capability has been located on each side except Sunnyside which only has one on the inbound side. Some Stations along 7 Avenue do not have this capability yet, but work is continuing to outfit these stations by March 2012.
Ticket Vending Machines will accept VISA, MaterCard, American Express and INTERAC. A list of all stations that have these machines is provided below.
Another improvement to the Ticket Vending Machines located at the CTrain Stations is that all Ticket Vending Machines are now able to return change if purchasing your tickets with cash. Remember that ticket machines do not accept paper money, only coins.
