Southland CTrain Station Reopens
On Friday, May 6 (3:14am), the Southland CTrain Station reopened after being closed for almost seven weeks. The closure was necessary to safely remove the existing platform in preparation for future four-car CTrains.
The ground-level pedestrian track crossing at the south end of the platform opened Tuesday, August 16 at 1:00pm.
Construction activties at the station will be completed end of August, 2011.
Calgary Transit apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
