CTrain Station Platform Work

In response to customer demand, Calgary Transit is preparing to operate four-car CTrains by 2014. In order to do so, all CTrain station platforms must be able to accommodate four-car trains, which will require extensions to most of the older stations.

The work to upgrade the stations will be done with limited disruption to train service, and we will make every effort to ensure customer inconvenience is kept to a minimum.

However, to safely conduct some work, it may be necessary to have weekend closures. In a couple of cases, due to the nature of the station and the work required, a longer station closure will be required.

Below is a tentative schedule of the stations requiring construction, including their anticipated start dates and if they will require an extended station closure.
