Bike Racks On Buses
Calgary Transit has revised its Bike Racks on Buses program starting June 28, 2010, all buses on the following routes will have bike racks:
These routes will be reviewed after one year to determine the viability of providing bike racks on buses.

Bike Rack Facts

There is no additional charge for bikes on Calgary Transit.

Customers are responsible for loading and unloading their bikes without assistance from the operator.

Bike racks carry a maximum of two bikes, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Only single seat, standard two-wheeled bikes fit in the racks.

Bikes placed in the rack do not touch each other, the bus or other vehicles.

A limited number of Calgary Transit buses have racks. In the event of a bus failure, the replacement bus may not be rack-equipped.

Only folding bikes are allowed on buses.

All unclaimed bikes left on racks will be turned over to the Calgary Police Service.
