Whether you are planning to take the bus or CTrain we have a few options for you to make your trip as convenient as possible.
Ticket Vending Machines
These machines are located at all entrances to our CTrain Stations. That’s where you can buy your fare to ride the system. They accept Canadian coins, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and debit cards.
Single Tickets, books of tickets or monthly pass
If you know you will taking public transit or you use public transit daily you can purchase your fare ahead of time. Single tickets, books of tickets or monthly passes are sold at our registered retailers across the city. You can also buy tickets online.
Download the My Fare app and pay for your tickets or passes using your smartphone. Just select the fare type you need, purchase it any time, and activate it just prior to boarding your bus or entering the fare restricted zone.
If you decide to take the bus and did not have time to run to the store to buy a ticket don’t fret. Our buses are equipped with fare boxes and we will accept cash fares. Please remember to have exact change it cuts down on delays and reduces the line-up to get on the bus.
If you need to take a combination of bus routes and/or the CTrain to get to your destination remember to ask your bus driver for a transfer or hold on to your validated ticket from your CTrain journey. This transfer is valid for the next 90 minutes.
