If you are 65 or older the Senior Yearly Pass is for you! With this pass you are entitled to unlimited access to regular Calgary Transit services. Pricing is listed on our fares page. Rates may vary due to proration based on the month of birth of the applicant. Please note that senior passes can not be used for Calgary Transit Access services.
- Age 65 or older - proof of age required
- Resident of Calgary - proof of residency required (PO Boxes, rural route addresses and bank statements are not accepted as proof)
Renewing your pass?
You can renew your pass in person by showing your photo ID (accepted examples are: Alberta Driver's License or Alberta Government Identification or Passport) at one of our Customer Service Centres, at City Hall Cashiers or online at calgarytransit.com/shop.
Please note, senior passes that expire in March 2020 have been extended until April 30. We recommend you apply for renewal by sending us a copy of your government-issued photo-ID (Alberta Driver’s License or Passport, or Alberta Government Identification) AND a recent billing statement in your name (Phone bill, Enmax, Property tax, etc.) to verify your mailing address:

Are you eligible for a reduced rate seniors pass?
If your income is below $30,625 for a couple or $24,600 for a single, and you are 65 or older, you are eligible for a reduced rate yearly pass. Click here for information about the Low Income Seniors Yearly Pass.
