Northwest CTrain Maintenance
Due to damage recently sustained to CTrains on the Northwest (Crowfoot) LRT line, an inspection of the overhead electrical wires along the entire northwest line is required this weekend, Saturday, Feb. 4 to Sunday, Feb. 5. ENMAX will begin inspecting the line after the last train goes out of service on Friday night and will continue until about 7:30 p.m. each day, if no serious issues are discovered.
CTrain service will continue during the inspection, customers may experience slight delays.
Should ENMAX find any significant damage, repairs will be done right away, which will impact the completion time and CTrain service. If this occurs, plans are in place to replace CTrain service with shuttle buses.
