CTrain Service Disruption
Starting Friday,
2009 July 31 through Monday, 2009 August 3
As part of the
7th Avenue refurbishment project, Calgary Transit
is conducting maintenance on 7th Avenue downtown
on Friday July 31 (starting at approximately
7:00pm) through Monday August 3, 2009.
CTrain service will be replaced by shuttle bus
Rte 551 between Sunnyside and Erlton/Stampede
Stations with connections to 3 Street East
Station downtown.
Frequency of trains from Sunnyside to Crowfoot
will be every 15 minutes, all other CTrain
frequencies remain unchanged but schedule times
will be different.
CTrain service from the south will terminate at
Victoria Park/Stampede Station. Customers
traveling beyond Victoria Park/Stampede Station
will need to board the shuttle bus Rte 551 at
Erlton/Stampede Station to continue their trip.

Please allow extra time for travel during this period.
Regular service is expected to resume
on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2009.
Extra service will be provided for the football game
on Saturday, August 1.
Pre-game: Buses named "Football Charter"
will depart from Erlton Station, travel to 3rd
Street East, and carry customers directly to McMahon Stadium.
Post-game: "Football Charter" buses
will transport customers from McMahon Stadium
and Sunnyside Station to 3 Street East and Erlton Station.
