Where we’re at

As of 2015, customers rate the cleanliness of our system at 69%. Customers are asked to consider how clean the interior and exterior of our buses and trains are, as well as CTrain stations, bus shelters and stops. Our target is to reach a satisfaction rating between 75-85% by 2018.

What we’ve done

In 2015 we did the following to improve cleanliness on our system:

  • Expanded one of our bus storage facilities to improve the efficiency of cleaning, storing and maintaining buses.
  • A shelter vandalism campaign was launched in April to deter vandalism and encourage people to report it.
  • Enhanced the station Deep Clean program, which focuses on LRT station cleaning from the ceiling to the floors.
