Shared Responsibilities

The provision of a shared-ride service is a joint responsibility between Access Calgary and its service providers, our customers, and their families. By following these guidelines, you will help us provide safe, efficient, and responsive service.

Rules of Conduct

Customers are asked to follow these basic rules to ensure the safety and comfort of other customers and the driver:

• No smoking on board.

• No use of abusive, threatening, or obscene language or actions toward other customers or your driver.

• No operating or tampering with any equipment while on board.

Customers displaying actions that are deemed offensive or dangerous will be reported and may be suspended from service. The customer or their caregiver will be required to comply with changes deemed necessary by Access Calgary before the customer will be able to ride again.

By registering to use Access Calgary services, customers, caregivers and/or their guardians have agreed to follow the above policies and procedures of Access Calgary.
