Access Calgary Eligibility Appeal Board
This appeal board has been established to review eligibility decisions that people applying for the service may not agree with. The appeal board, representing City Council, is made up of two health care workers, two current customers of Access Calgary, and one community-member-at-large. The appeal board meets monthly as required and decisions are rendered at the meeting.
Customers can make a verbal and/or written presentation to the board.

Access Calgary Service Appeal Board
This independent appeal board hears appeals regarding suspension of service due to policy violations (e.g. cancellations, handover to caregivers and others).
The appeal board meets monthly as required.
Customers can make a verbal or written presentation to the board.
Suspensions due to safety concerns cannot be appealed.
You may not appeal the type of vehicle you are dispatched (i.e. a HandiBus, Southland or a taxi).
